GF-100 BTK Product¡¦s Release
Date : 05 / 2010
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since the launch of nVIDIA¡¦s monster GF100 core for the GTX480/470, we have received many requests from gamers and enthusiasts for a cooling alturnative to the stock cooling.
Of course, these requests attracted our attention due to the great amount of heat generated by the GF100. But, until we got our hands on the GTX480 and ran the Furmark tests, we didn¡¦t realize just how shocking the stock temps were.
The stock cooler consists of 5 heat-pipes and a 6,000 rpm fan but, the noise level produced and thermal cooling solution that the stock cooler provide are not satisfactory at all. Even with the stock fan running at full speed, the GPU core temp is still around 100 degrees Celsius. We tested the stock cooler many times including three times in a row and in two out of three tests, the whole system froze.
As you well know, the GF100 core is remarkably hot and with no after-market ?cooler that can handle its beastly heat, until now that is!
We tested our Spitfire cooler on the GTX480 and we can affirm that the Spitfire will ensure a quiet and constant cooling. If you already own the Spitfire all you¡¦ll need to purchase is our GF100BTK and you¡¦ll be good and ready for your GTX470/480.
