MUX-120 was designed to have similar shape of the Original Ultra-120 extreme, with less weight, but not less the performance, many users will find that when installing an after-market cooler on the 1156 Platform ( other brands), the CPU cooler will be in interference with the memory slots (when you have all 4 memory slots filled), but with MUX-120 you will not have this problem as we have designed it to have the width to 38mm, to ensure perfect installation even when all memory slots were used,

1156 Motherboards has different PCB designs , but it is common that they have no North-Bridge, and most user choose to have their VGA card installed in the first PCIE slot (16X slot), but interference occurs when you choose to install an after-market cooler, as it will touch the VGA, we have designed our MUX-120 to have the length of 131mm, it solved this question and there is no need to worry about the incompatibility with other components in your case. MUX-120 has 4 heatpipes,it inherits the uniqueness of Thermalright, all parts are nickel plated, to ensure best thermal conduction for the heatpipes and fins, and also prolongs the usage of cpu cooler.
