- STEP 1-

HR-05-SLI heatsink and its included parts.
Remove stock heatsink.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Apply the square cushion pad on to the bottom of the heatsink's base.
Slide the cable tie/strap that came with the heatsink through the fins.
- STEP 5 -
- STEP 6 -
Tie the cable tie/strap around the heatpipes as shown in the picture.
Pull cable tie/strap to tighten.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Stick the lose end of the cable tie/strap back into the fins to create an arc. This will act as a barrier/cushion for the heatsink
Do the same for the other corners.
- STEP 9-
- STEP 10-
Apply an even layer of thermal paste on the heatsink's base and on the northbridge DIE.
Install the two push-pins on the proper bracket mount.
- STEP 11-
- STEP 12-
Install the heatsink on the northbridge DIE.
Install Video card.
- STEP 13-
- STEP 14-
Installation of northbridge heatsink complete.
The heatsink can also be installed facing the other side of the video card as depicted in the picture.
Fan
Installation
- STEP 1-

Apply the square cushion pad on to the bottom of the heatsink's base.
Slide the cable tie/strap that came with the heatsink through the fan and the heatsink fins.

Tie the cable tie/strap around the heatpipes as shown in the picture.
Pull cable tie/strap to tighten.

Installation of fan complete.

Install the heatsink on the northbridge DIE.
Plug in the fan for the northbridge heatsink for power.

Install Video Card.
