Push pin chipset installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Please
remove stock chipset heat sink before
use
Remove
stock cooler.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Clean
thermal paste thoroughly off the
NB & SB chipset.
Stick
the cushion pad on the chipset.
- STEP 5 -
- STEP 6 -
Insert
the black washers through the screws.
Apply
the screws to the mother board backside.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Apply
thermal paste evenly on the heatsink
base and on the chipset die.
Secure
the mounting plate in place by tightening
the screws by hand.
Clip chipset type installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-

Remove
stock cooler.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Clean
thermal paste thoroughly off the
NB & SB chipset.
Stick
the cushion pad on the chipset.
- STEP 5 -
- STEP 6 -
Apply
thermal paste evenly on the heatsink
base and on the chipset die.
Screw
on the screw caps on the "J"
hooks.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Place
the mounting plate on top of the
heatsink base
Insert
the J screws through the holes from
the mounting plate and turn till
finger tight to secure in place.
80mmx15mm Fan installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Insert
each end of fan wire clips into
holes on the fins (as circled in
red).
Pull
on wire clips to hook into fan mounting
holes.
80mmx25mm Fan installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Insert
each end of fan wire clips into
holes on the fins (as circled in
red).
Pull
on wire clips to hook into fan mounting
holes.
