775 Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Parts
for the HR-01( Intel 775) heatsink.
Apply
a thin layer of thermal paste on
to bottom of the heatsink base.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
With
the thermal paste properly applied,
place the heatsink on top of the
CPU.
Push
down the fastener until you hear
a click. Do the same for the other
three.
- STEP 5 -
HR-01
(Intel 775) installed.
AM2 Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Stock
AM2 Socket RM.
Remove/uninstall the 4 screws.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Replace
stock RM with AM2-RM (Rev. A).
Tighten
the four screws.
- STEP 5-
- STEP 6-
Slide
S-Clip through HR-01.
Place
the center pillar on the clip to
the socket.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
To
rotate 90 degrees, tilt the S-Clip
at an angle and turn.
Rotate
the heatsink until it is facing
the system exhaust fan.
- STEP 9 -
- STEP 10 -
Hook
the two ends of the clip on each
end of RM
Push
in the lock handle to secure in
place.

Installation
complete.
478 Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Parts
for the HR-01 (Intel P4-478) heatsink.
Apply
a thin layer of thermal paste on
to bottom of the heatsink base.
- STEP 3 -

Apply
a thin layer of thermal paste on
top of the CPU DIE.
Screw
in the M shaped heatsink clip onto
the retention bracket.
- STEP 5-
- STEP 6-
Insert
the M shaped heatsink clips and
the retention bracket through the
heatpipes.
Align
the dome on the retention bracket
to the socket on the top of the
heatsink.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Slightly
adjust the retention plate with
the M shaped heatsink clips attached
to ensure proper placement with
heatsink.
Hook
the heatsink clips into RM.
- STEP 9 -
HR-01(Intel
P4) installed.
K8 Installation
- STEP 1-

A
K8 motherboard
- STEP 3 -

Apply
thermal paste to CPU and bottom
of HR-01 heatsink.
Slide
the S-type clip through the heatsink,
between the heatpipes.
- STEP 5-

Stick
the pillar on the S-type clip into
the socket on top of the heatsink
base.
With
the pillar stationed in the socket,
rotate the S-Clip 90 degrees.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8 -
Hook
one end of the clip on to the lug
on the RM and then the other end
on the lug on the other side of
the RM
And
then push that end of the clip inward.

Turn
the lock handle to lock in place.
Installation
of the S-type clip complete.
Type 2 Installation Follow
Step 1~4 of Type 1 Installation
- STEP 5 -

STEP 6 -
Stick
the pillar on the S-type clip into
the socket on top of the heatsink's
base and then turn the clip 90 degrees.
Hook
one end of the S-type clip's slot
into the center lug of the K8 retention
mount and then the other end.
- STEP 7 -

Press
down on the lever to secure the
heatsink.
Turn
the lock handle to lock in place.
- STEP 9 -

STEP 10 -
Turn
the lock handle to lock in place.
PS-type
clip installation complete.
