Heat sink installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
HR-01X
and its included parts.
Slide
the mounting bracket through between
the heat pipes in its retracted
form.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Apply
a thin layer of thermal paste to
the top of CPU and bottom of heat
sink base.
Once
through, revert the mounting bracket
back to its full extended form and
align the four corners to the four
mounting holes.
- STEP 5-
- STEP 6-
Use
the mini wrench if you can’t get to the
screws to tighten with a screwdriver.
You
can also choose to have the HR-01X to face
the other way by rotating it 90 degrees.
In this case you can use the screwdriver
to tighten the screws.
- STEP 7-
Two
HR-01X installed.
120mm Fan installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Apply
the anti-vibration strips to where
it depicts in the above illustration.
Insert
each end of fan wire clips into
their designated fan holes on the
heat sink.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Place
a fan to the heat sink and pull
on the wire clips to hook into the
fan mounting holes.
Installation
of fan complete.
