Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
IFX-14 and its included accessory parts.
Socket AM2 and 775 retention mechanism. Select the appropriate one for installation on your system.

- STEP 4 -
Insert the hollow pillars through the mounting holes from the back of the plate
Use the appropriate O-rings to secure in place.

The ones that are circled in red are for 775 sockets while the gray ones are for AM2.
Stick the 0.3mm double sided square thermal pad to the place shown in the picture (inside the squared socket).

- STEP 8-
Unpeel the backing off the double sided square thermal pad
Place the heatsink base on top of the thermal pad.

- STEP 9-
- STEP 10-
Unpeel the 1.5mm thermal pad
Stick the 1.5mm thermal pad to the top of heatsink base.

- STEP 11-
- STEP 12-
Align the mounting holes from both the backplate and the motherboard with the heatsink base in contact with the back of the CPU socket.
Bolt down on the 775 spring loaded screws.

- STEP 13-
Installation complete.


80mm Fan Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Insert the fan wire ends into fan wire holes on the heatsink
Place the 80mm fan on top of heatsink. Pull fan wire to hook into fan mounting holes.
