775 Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Insert
the 755 hollow pillars through
the backplate and then apply the
775 O-Ring from the other side.
Do
the four corners repeating Step
1.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Stick
the pillars through the mounting
holes on the back side of the
motherboard.
Install
the appropriate bracket mount
on the motherboard.
- STEP 5-
- STEP 6-
If
you want to rotate the heatsink
90 degrees, rotate the positioning
of the bracket mounts to be installed.
Apply
a thin layer of thermal paste
to the CPU and to the bottom of
heatsink base.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Place
the mounting plate on top of the
heatsink base lining up with the
holes from the bracket mounts.
Secure
the mounting plate in place first
by tightening the spring loaded
screws by hand.
- STEP 9-
Then
using the mini wrench to tighten
fully to complete installation.
AM2
Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Remove
stock AM2 RM.
Motherboard
with the RM removed.
- STEP 3-
- STEP 4-
Insert
the AM2 hollow pillars through
the backplate and then apply the
AM2 from the other side.
To
complete the installation of the
backplate, repeat Step 3 for the
remaining three corners.
- STEP 5-
- STEP 6-
Align
and insert the pillars from the
backplate through the mounting
holes on the back side of the
motherboard.
Install
the appropriate bracket mount
on the motherboard. (with AM2,
heatsink cannot be rotated)
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Apply
a thin layer of thermal paste
to the CPU and to the bottom of
heatsink base.
Place
the mounting plate on top of the
heatsink base lining up with the
holes from the bracket mounts.
- STEP 9-
- STEP 10-
Secure
the mounting plate in place first
by tightening the spring loaded
screws by hand.
Then
using the mini wrench to tighten
fully to complete installation.
Fan
Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Stick
anti-vibration strips to heatsink
fins (as shown in picture).
Insert
each end of fan wire clips into
holes on the fins (as circled
in red).
- STEP 3-
- STEP 4-
Fan
Clip installation complete.
Pull
on wire clips to hook into fan
mounting holes.
- STEP 5 -
SI-128
SE Installation complete.
