Socket 775 Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
TRUE Black 120 and its included parts.
Align and insert the pillars from the backplate through the mounting holes on the back side of the motherboard.
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Apply a thin layer of thermal paste to the top of CPU and bottom of heatsink base.
Slide the mounting bracket through between the heatpipes in its retracted form.
STEP 5
STEP 6
Once through, revert the mounting bracket back to its full extended form
Align the four corners to the four mounting holes.
STEP 7
STEP 8
In a cross diagonal pattern, bolt down on the 775 spring loaded screws. Installation completed.
Installation complete.
Socket AM2 Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
To install on an AM2 platform, first remove stock RM.
Apply a thin layer of thermal paste to the top of CPU and bottom of heatsink base.
- STEP 3-
- STEP 4-
As shown in the above illustration, have one side of AM2 mounting bracket touching the heatpipe using it as a pivotal point and rotate it in between the heatpipes.
Installation of mounting bracket completed.
- STEP 5-
- STEP 6-
Select the
appropriate spring loaded screws from your accessory pack.
In a criss
cross (diagonal) pattern, bolt down on the AM2 spring loaded
screws.
STEP 7
Installation of AM2 TRUE Black 120 completed.
One Fan Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Apply the anti-vibration strips to the spot depicted in the above illustration.
Insert each end of fan wire clips into their designated fan holes on the heatsink.
- STEP 3-
Fan clip installation completed.
Place a fan to the heatsink and pull on the wire clips to hook into the fan mounting holes. Installation of fan completed.
Two Fan Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Apply the anti-vibration strips to the spot depicted in the above illustration.
Insert each end of fan wire clips into their designated fan holes on the heatsink.
- STEP 3-
Fan clip installation completed.
Place a fan to the heatsink and pull on the wire clips to hook into the fan mounting holes. Do the same for other side. Installation of fan completed.
