Installation
- STEP 1-
- STEP 2-
Before
purchase, determine the appropriate
HR-09 (S or U) in accordance to
your system configuration.
Remove
stock MOSFET cooling system
- STEP 3 -
- STEP 4 -
Clean
surface of every part of MOSFET.
If
your board is by ASUS, use smaller/shorter
end of the heatsink. If your board
is by Gigabyte, use the larger/longer
end of the heatsink.
- STEP 5 -
- STEP 6 -
Unpeel
the plastic backing off the thermal
pad and stick the yellow side on
to the heatsink base
Unpeel
the backing for the other side (grayish
side) of the thermal pad and stick
the entire MOSFET heatsink on top
of MOSFET.
- STEP 7-
- STEP 8-
Install
mounting bracket in accordance to
the length of the mounting holes.
After
the length is adjusted, tighten
the screw on each end.
- STEP 9-
Press
down on the push pin. Installation
complete.
