THERMALRIGHT® AMD AM5 CPU Mount Upgrade

THERMALRIGHT® hereby announces that the mounting holes of AM4 and AM5 are compatible, and most radiators can continue to be used. In addition, some radiators need to purchase the AM5 mounting kits, so that our loyal fans can continue to enjoy high-efficiency heat dissipation. .

The AM5 upgrade kit includes: one set of fixing frame, one set of black plastic posts and one set of long screws, so the radiator will be installed in the same way as AM4.

Note that there are two types of all installation kit upgrades, as shown.

Check what type of mounting kit you have installed? (as the picture shows)
Step 2:
Please check if you have AM5 mounting holes. (as the picture shows)
AM5 mounting holes are 54 x 90 mm from center.
Please email support@thermalright.com informing you of the need to purchase an AM5 mounting kits.
Before purchasing you need to provide basic information, including name, phone number and your address. There is an additional fee for shipping the AM5 mounting kits.

LGA1700

THERMALRIGHT upgrade mounting kit supports Intel LGA1700 CPU.

The upgrade mounting kit offered by Thermalright for Intel LGA1700 will bring a better cooling performance experience for gamer. We will offer the upgrade mounting kit compatible with Intel LGA1700. The mounting kit will be available to purchase from us in December. Payments for the mounting kit and postage will be applied. If you would like to place an order in advance, please email your contact detail (name, address, and phone numbers) to support@thermalright.com. Please also inform the mounting kit version needed so we could confirm the compatibility. We will send you an email confirmation once the mounting kit is available to dispatch.
Note: all versions of upgrade mounting kits can be referred to the following instruction with pictures
Step 1: Check the version of the mounting kit that is required for installation (refer to the picture)
Step 2: Check whether there are installation holes for LGA1700.
The distance between the installation hole and the center is 78mm x 78mm. (refer to the picture)

THERMALRIGHT® AMD AM4 CPU Mount Upgrade

As we have done in the past, THERMALRIGHT® is happy to announce free AMD Ryzen upgrade kits to owners of our coolers who are upgrading their systems to AM4 CPUs.  The new AM4 upgrade will be available in Europe March 6, 2017.

We would also like to take this opportunity to inform you that coolers manufactured after January 1, 2017 come with upgraded AM4 mounting kits.  These AM4 kits come with  mounting plate with AM4 mounting added.   The new mounting kits installation is no different than our older mounting kits.

To determine if your new THERMALRIGHT® cooler has the new AM4 mounting kit, look at the instruction manual. (as shown)
